Food Safety & Refrigeration | Training Module #3

Module includes:

  • 4 Templates (Supporting Documents)
  • 1 Video (Walking you through the documents)

This subject may seem easy to overlook but is truly foundational to the successful opening and operation of a grocery store. There’s no one-size-fits-all approach to outfitting your store with the refrigeration and food safety equipment it needs, so in this module we’ll walk through a variety of scenarios and options to get this essential piece up and running in the most efficient way possible for your unique store.

In this third module, we’ll cover Refrigeration and Certifications, Food Safety, Beer/Tobacco, and HACCP Plans. Refrigeration is absolutely integral to the entire process of opening and operating a grocery store and needs to be considered in nearly every facet of your operations. Learn the basic necessities of Refrigeration and Food Safety in a grocery store plus some pitfalls to avoid and advice for best practices.

This video looks primarily at the Food Safety & Refrigeration Concepts document (Mod3_1) and we’ll cover the remaining three templates as we go.
