Developing an Online Presence
In today’s market, having a strong online presence for your business is more important than ever. These courses will cover anything from increasing visibility with your customers to building your brand/sales potential with online sales, to enhancing your graphic design skills with a free online tool.
Instructors for the courses are Jenny Russell and Josey Hammer of JenRus Freelance. JenRus Freelance is a marketing agency located in Courtland, Kansas that focuses on providing solutions for businesses, rural economic development, municipalities, and non-profits. Its Remarkably Rural Consulting Solutions division specializes in providing training and technical assistance in rural communities. Russell graduated with a degree in Business-Communications and Marketing from Bethany College. She has worked in Economic Development, marketing, advertising, and websites for over fifteen years. Hammer is a graduate of Kansas State University with a Bachelor’s degree in Journalism & Mass Communications and Photojournalism. She is the lead photographer and videographer for the 314 Graphic Design Division at JenRus Freelance.

For those participants who have a WordPress basic website, this class will go through how to set up a WooCommerce selling platform. For those participants that do not have a website, the class will go through how to set up items in a Facebook Shop. This class will also explain Facebook boosted posts and Facebook ads.

Then join us for the Social Media Marketing class and learn more about engaging your current and future clients on social media. Most businesses in the twelve-county NCRPC service area and their customers utilize Facebook, so it will be covered. The course will also touch on Instagram, Twitter, LinkedIn, Snapchat, Hubspot, and more.
